Our mission

We develop professional competencies in Uzbekistan, creating an environment where every project achieves success.

Our goal

Our goal is to create conditions where knowledge, experience and skills form the foundation for effectively implementing initiatives and strategic objectives.

The association’s mandate

The mission runs through five standing functions.

  1. 01

    Develop

    Competence

Programmes built on ICB4 and continuing CPD cycles keep practitioners’ knowledge current.

  2. 02

    Certify

    Capability

The 4-L-C model assesses knowledge, experience and leadership independently and transparently.

  3. 03

    Connect

    Community

Forums, summits and the IPMA Young Crew network bring practitioners together.

  4. 04

    Support

    Organisations

We accompany companies through PMO set-up, process audit and IPMA Delta maturity assessment.

  5. 05

    Promote

    Ethics & standards

The code of professional ethics and national methodological norms become the industry’s shared language.

Strategic goal

By 2030, at least 70 per cent of the country's major investment projects to be run by internationally certified teams.

Our values

Professional integrity, transparency, continuing professional development (CPD) and an engineering discipline that serves sustainable economic growth.

Strategic priorities

PMBA national operating model — The ICB4 standard

Integrating international standards

Adapting the IPMA ICB4 (Individual Competence Baseline) to the context of the national economy, and establishing one methodological language across public and private systems.

Certifying professional competence

Maintaining a register of impartial, independent and transparent assessments of knowledge, experience and personal leadership through the four-level international (4-L-C) model.

Lasting business partnership

Establishing and auditing project management offices (PMOs) in the corporate sector and in public institutions, and raising their maturity against the IPMA Delta model.
